At the request of the Town Hall, we are taking part in the project for the consolidation of restaurant and bar terraces in public spaces in Barcelona. Our proposal consists of implementing a pavement extension platform to consolidate and organise the occupation of streets by terraces, to substitute parking spaces and free up public space for citizens.
Escofet’s terrace platform system is modular, versatile and can be adapted to all locations, including the number of tables assigned to each establishment. It has a wide range of planters and enclosures for customising the terrace, in a range of four colours.
Made from concrete that contains 40% of recycled aggregates, it has a service life of over 30 years and requires no maintenance. The platform complies with the usual features of public site furnishings such as robustness, simplicity and non-slip material that is fireproof and easy to clean, as well as having very few joints and no differences in height. The aluminium entrance ramps are non-deformable, allowing easy, precise and silent access from the pavement.
It is designed to provide maximum safety for users, guaranteeing the necessary standards of comfort to allow them to enjoy their time on the terrace.
