Alameda Pincipal Málaga con mobiliario urbano de hormigón de escofet

The Alameda Principal boulevard is one of the most historical streets in the city of Málaga. It has a varied selection of listed buildings from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, and its vault is formed by 100-year-old fig trees.

The project, designed by Málaga City Council Urban Development Department, aims to win backspace for the citys inhabitants and enhance the citys heritage through the incorporation of a functional and informative layer that configures contemporary space.

The project includes the use, in the northern and southern areas, of pedestrian areas close to the buildings, the restriction of traffic to the central strip and the incorporation of the metro line below ground. The materials used are durable, inexpensive to maintain and propitiate innovation. Escofet has contributed to this initiative with its Sócrates backless benches, Kiwi seats, Milenio backless benches and wooden Longo accessory benches.
