Marc Aurel, french architect, graduated from the Marseille School of Arts and Architecture and began his professional career as an urban planner. In 1996 he created the MA Studio which is dedicated to the design of public areas, both from the point of view of the urban planning and lighting. Since 1997 Marc Aurel has taught at the Marseille School of Arts and Architecture whilst since 2002 he has been head of design at the School of Fine Arts on Ile de la Reunion.
His works express the philosophy of the studio, which tends to enhance the influences of contemporary art, cinema, dance, architecture, design and music. At the same time he began to work with major European companies for whom he designs ranges and individual elements of industrial street furniture products, including Escofet 1886 with designing the collection Kelly in UHPC.
