Pavings are a powerful resource as a hardscape that can mediate between people and their surrounding landscape. The design of such surfaces affects the way people can live and experience an environment.

We present our latest project emplaced in the France Avenue in Paris: the urban element Highfive planter, developed by designer Quentin Vaulot in the context of the urban innovation program FAIRE Design Urbain 2018.

Probably the best known and most photographed of all Antoni Gaudí’s non-architectural work is the hexagonal hydraulic tile he designed in 1904 in conjunction with Escofet. Initially intended for the floors of the renovated Batlló House on Barcelona’s Paseo de Gràcia, his pattern was finally used to pave the service rooms in another building on the same street, Milà House, better known as «La Pedrera», an apartment building with a visionary structure that he designed immediately afterwards.

The large-format concrete modular elements provide singularity, distinction and permanence concepts to architectural projects. Unique pieces conceptualized prioritizing the adaptability to the needs of each proposal.
