Roman Wall Promenade

The Levit bench forms part of the urban renewal work executed on a section of the Ronda da Muralla in Lugo. The Roman wall in Lugo is the only one in the world to have been preserved in its entirety. In a dialogue with this World Heritage listed construction, Levit, with its Rest backrest and armrests, and the Icaria concrete tree grate are integrated into a pedestrian walkway with a permeable floor that enhances the grandeur of the Roman construction and, in turn, gives greater consistency to the inside and outside of the bordering space.
