Málaga, Spain
The Palmeral de las Sorpresas, a new space for Malaga with the aim of becoming the public reference space that the city needs, with events, variations and changes, permanent or temporary.
A Plaza Mayor in the shape of a Hall that overlooks the Mediterranean, formalized with three basic elements, an isotropic weave of palm trees, a pergola that runs parallel to the pier, and a connection sheet with the city.
The Hall is part of a new pedestrian itinerary that begins in the Plaza de la Constitución, continues down Calle Larios to the Plaza de la Marina, from where it jumps through the sheet, carpet shaded by light umbracles, to the palm grove.
