The Bilbao planter is a pyramidal element with a triangular base and slightly arched sides. The formal result is achieved by means of a torque of 16 degrees in the supper plane with respect to the lower one, thus giving rise to a menacing volume with distorted sides and a retrained movement. This characteristic reduces the impact of its singular presence, allowing it to blend into its surroundings more easily.
The Bilbao series design is made up of a bench and a flower box, and it is inspired by the undulated titanium panels used on the façade of the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao.
The onlooker plays a part in the visual relationship established with the flower box, in which the image differs, depending on the position from which it is observed. The alignment of these boxes, arranged in different positions and rotated, creates a sequence of elements that are apparently dissimilar.
Moulded concrete, reinforced with stainless steel, with a stripped finish and in the Escofet standard chart colour. Internal breathable, flexible, waterproof lining. Self-standing on three triangular supports with a height of 6 cm. Its installation requires no anchoring elements. Drainage is carried out through a rectangular opening of 7 x 7 cm.
