The Sisa collection proposes a series of seating elements designed for urban parks and gardens. Sisa is an affordable, low-maintenance urban bench set. The bench comes with a backrest that provides comfort thanks to a subtle inclination which does not compromise an upright posture, while the backless bench helps to define the urban environment without reducing its importance.
The armrest sheet, a delicate gesture that allows recognizing the entirety of the piece, refers to a typology of street seating that establishes itself in the popular imagination with a recognizable curve, albeit now lighter. On the other hand, the geometry evokes the moment of contact when rising or sitting, the gesture of the human hand when resting on the knees or a cane.
The FSC®-certified nordic pine wood slats have been treated with clear Lasur, guaranteeing resistance to weathering and proper aging. Available in rust red and brownish green, the metal structure incorporates screwed fixings for optimal installation and vandalism prevention. The result is a family of resting elements that coexist with the architectural context while making room for the human, integrating the plurality of both.
Sisa rests on the pavement, with precise anchoring using threaded rods set into holes previously drilled into the pavement and filled with epoxy resin or heavy mortar.
