Bancalosa is a classic design in single-piece concrete backless benches. It is extremely large and robust and consists of a large slab of 400 x 70 cm that rests on three concrete supports. It is usually installed in an isolated arrangement, but its geometry also permits longitudinal aggregations to create a large slab that can be used as an urban boundary.
Originally designed for the Trade Fair of Rimini on the Adriatic coast of Italy. Bancalosa displays its capacity for integration in urban settings and its wish to remain due to its material condition, essential design and universal application. It emerges from space individually or in aligned arrangements.
Bench made from reinforced, etched, water-repellent concrete in the Escofet standard chart colour. Although it is self-stabilising, it is recommended to anchor it to the paving using two M16 x 140 mm screws at the end supports.
