Bilbao is the name given to a reinforced concrete bench that transmits the sensation of having been cut from a huge pyramid-shaped rock. Its organic, linear structure allows it to be installed supported only by the ends, for the purpose of sanitising the lower part and to provide access for maintenance and cleaning operations.
The Bilbao series design is made up of a bench and a flower box, and it is inspired by the undulated titanium panels used on the façade of the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao.
The bench has a low back which is joined to the surface of the seat by a longitudinal aperture that prevents the accumulation of water and undesirable debris.
Moulded concrete, reinforced with stainless steel, with a stripped finish and in the Escofet standard chart colour. Although the element is self-balancing, it is advisable to anchor it with two steel M16 x 140 mm threaded rods.
