Daniel Vila and Ester Pujol, graduated from Escola Massana (Barcelona) as industrial designers in 2000. Daniel Vila was previously a draughtsman. They participated in several seminars including Massana-Assidomän Frövi Packaging, completed a postgraduate course in design management at the Institut Català de Tecnologia), and won the 2000 ADI Medal for their project “Carro de Vela”. Between 2002 y 2003, Ester Pujol joined a postgraduate interior design course at the Valencia School of Architecture. They founded Nahtrang Disseny in 2003, bringing together their individual talents and professional experience. Between 2007 and 2008, they lectured on entering the workforce at Escola Massana and the Eina Design School. In 2010, they gave classes on street furniture at the Elisava School in Barcelona.
Their products have featured in several specialist magazines including Experimenta, Guía Creativity, Casa Viva, Diseño Interior and Incubator Berlin, and television programmes such as Silenci (TV3). They now design projects for Spanish and foreign firms including NBL, Germany (bathroom accessories), Carte Blanche, UK (travel complements), GGA, Italy (office furniture) and Dcero, Shanghai, China (technical measurement products). Their work for Escofet includes , Niu and Niu Oval (multipurpose garden products), Kiwi (bench and stool) and Link (a suite of benches, tables and stools).
