The Ricardo Bofill Architecture Workshop has designed a bench, installed alongside the new W Hotel, known locally as the Sail Hotel on the Barcelona seafront, that looks out to the Mediterranean horizon.
This modular cast stone bench runs in a 100 m circle, taking up the entire Rosa dels Vents Square, a new public space that culminates the Barceloneta seafront promenade.
