Flor and Sócrates in Florentinum Complex, Prague

The Florentinum project - a multifunction administrative complex that consists of an underground parking, a shopping mall, an office area and also includes a reconstruction of two historical houses - was a fascinating opportunity to create in the very center of Prague two completely new urban spaces, a square and a garden area that have long been neglected and that now positively affect the face of the city.

The goal of the Florentinum development project is not only the construction of the building itself, but also the development of the surrounding area. In this way, Florentinum, despite its admirable dimensions, is part of the city rather than a solitary object. Escofet has delivered Flor and Sócrates benches to give the place identity and activate public life, with spaces to meet up and spaces to be in solitude.
