Piano is a system of metal benches that incorporate wooden slats in the seat. It fits in well with other items in the catalogue, such as the Boxland concrete collection or the Band series in galvanized steel sheets, painted in the colours of the RAL chart.
As if it were a band of music, Piano came about as a primitive instrument from the Band series. The arrangement of slats is similar to the keys of the very same percussion string instrument that gives it its name. The design is based on the two mechanized sheet metal supports, bent and welded into a central structure that supports the arrangement of wooden slats. The use of wood as seats provides for better thermal comfort in environments with extreme climates. The shape allows the bench an infinitive number of combinations with products in the catalogue with a 50 cm depth.
The bench chassis is made of galvanized steel plate, mechanized and welded, in a paint finish from the RAL colour chart. The seat slats are made of FSC-certified tropical hardwood, 35 x 40 mm with an oil finish. Rests on the pavement, with precise anchoring using threaded rods into holes previously drilled into the pavement and filled with epoxy resin or heavy mortar.
