Naguisa is a modular series of benches made from prefabricated concrete firs located in the park which has been created at the center of the artificial island known as Island City in Japan’s Hakata Bay, Fukuoka.
The benches which have a characteristic circular shape measuring between 7.5 and 11 m. of diameter, flank the lake that has been created in front of the Gurin Gurin-Centre Complex, formed by three conservatories integrated in the artificial landscape, designed by the architect Toyo Ito.
