It was originally designed to improve the sea promenade of El Masnou, based on a project by the same author.

The parallelepiped base serves to give direction to the urban element, creating different sides that interact with the geometry of the street. It has a plastic, conical-shaped cover that gives it a friendlier appearance and facilitates cleaning and maintenance. The plastic bag is held in place by a stainless steel ring secured by a stranded wire cable, with no need for mechanisms.

Stainless steel-reinforced concrete body, rotational moulded plastic cover, stainless steel ring that holds the waste bag in place and a stranded wire cable to secure the ring.
It is self-balancing and designed to be installed on the paving with four threaded M16 x 140 mm screws inserted and fastened with resin in holes with a diameter of 40 mm.
