Tram is a modular, reinforced concrete bench that is characterised by an organic, convivial profile. Its ergonomic, comfortable design brings a lightweight touch that offsets the heaviness of the concrete. It transmits the sensation of flexibility to the user when used as an isolated element or when several benches are grouped to form semicircles with two or three segments in the form of continuous long backless benches. It is supplied in two versions: Tram Curvo, and Tram Recto.
It was originally designed for the public area of the sports complexes on Montjuïc Mountain in Barcelona, as part of the Olympic Ring planned by Alfonso Milá and Federico Correa.
The Tram bench is supplied in two versions: Tram Curvo, which grows in an arc-like formation, allowing other benches to be added to form semicircles with two or three segments; and Tram Recto, which allows individual installation or flexible linear formations.
The combined back and seat profile adapts perfectly to the ergonomics of its users. Dry-mix concrete with an etched finish and in the Escofet standard chart colour. Although it is self-balancing to guarantee the stability of the bench, Tram can also be anchored to the paving or concrete foundation slab by means of two M16 x 140 mm metal threaded rods.
