Presentation of “The expression of weight”

On 1 June we attended the presentation of the book "The expression of weight" by Luís Martínez Santa-María. The publication, edited by the Mies van der Rohe Foundation and of which we are sponsors together with Cementos Molins, reflects on the importance of weight in architecture through examples in art history.

The book unravels the author’s thoughts and gathers diverse examples of how artists and architects find ways of carrying the burdens, the weights, the obligations and all the gravitational aspects that are the inherent responsibility of architecture.
