Our assistance at UITP 2023

The UITP Global Public Transport Summit happens every two years and this time will take place in Barcelona, from 5-7 June 2023. Founded in Belgium in 1885, the UITP (Union Internationale des Transports Publics) is a renowned international organisation that brings together public transport authorities and operators, policy decision-makers, scientific institutes and the public transport supply and service industry, while supporting a holistic approach to urban mobility and advocating for public transport development and sustainable mobility. 

Escofet, founded in 1886, has dedicated all its existence to the design and industrialisation of urban elements and architectural concrete, transforming cities and promoting the use of public space. Our mission is thus closely aligned with UITP’s own goals and, as such, we proudly join the UITP Summit with our own stand. 

In addition to our wide range of public seating and mobility elements that, throughout the years, we have been installing in bus, metro and rail stations worldwide, we will also be presenting 25º, a new support element - designed by Antonio Bustamante and Marc Llagostera - that allows the back to rest in a balanced, comfortable and healthy posture while waiting for your local bus, metro, train or any other kind of public transport.
