The urbanisation project for the Freser River banks has shaped a 200 m long promenade. The combination of a semi-green pavement (Checker Block) and trees creates a new space in which vegetation plays an important role. The presence of a linear element along this promenade generates an attractive riverside boundary: on the one hand, it protects pedestrians as they climb the slope, while at the same time it proposes a bench, an invitation to rest and look at this landscape.
